His Church has been saying the end is near for near 2,000 years. I understand, and say Amen to that — but have to wonder, are we doing something wrong?

1 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying, 2 Go and cry in the ears of Jerusalem, saying, Thus saith the Lord; I remember thee, the kindness of thy youth, the love of thine espousals, when thou wentest after me in the wilderness, in a land that was not sown. 3 Israel was holiness unto the Lord, and the firstfruits of his increase:all that devour him shall offend; evil shall come upon them, saith the Lord

Right: Holiness unto the Lord.
I know, we’re under Grace. What are we doing wrong in our own lives, in our churches, in the body of Christ? How do we let God use us to preach “… this gospel of the kingdom […] in all the world for a witness unto all nations;” ? Because the Word says “and then shall the end come.”

I don’t have the answers, but these are the things I wonder about at night sometimes.

As his Word says:

20 He Who gives this warning and affirms and testifies to these things says, Yes (it is true). [Surely] I am coming quickly (swiftly, speedily). Amen (so let it be)! Yes, come, Lord Jesus!
21 The grace (blessing and favor) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah) be with all the saints (God’s holy people, those set apart for God, to be, as it were, exclusively His). Amen (so let it be).
